Last month I hopped on a plane and headed back to Budapest to spend a few days with my family before the crazy mid-term season starts. It was the best decision ever. As I'm getting older I'm really starting to realize the importance of family and spending time with your loved ones - especially when you live abroad. Being someone who travels around all the time, I often tend to totally forget about how my extended family members are doing even though they always tell me how often they think of me and always are hoping that I'm doing well (I'm talking about my grandparents here for example). So long story short, I'll definitely try to make spending time with family a priority every time I go home now and not using 'but I'm too busy' as an excuse not to visit home because I really am super lucky to have such a loving & supporting family who is always waiting for me back home.
